For those of us who use Skype for business, this is interesting news and Wired.com has an interesting article on why the purchase. I enjoy the quality of video and sound that it offers when talking to clients. Let’s hope the free part of Skype isn’t touched.

If you use Twitter for your business, you probably have heard about TweetDeck, an application that lets you post to Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn, Foursquare, Google Buzz and other social media sites. TweetDeck allows you to enter your tweet once and post to the major social networking sites with a click of a button. It’s a great time saving tool.
Twitter has acquired TweetDeck so we will see what happens. I love TweetDeck and I hope the functionality is kept going forward.
